Entrance Exam FAQs

Common questions asked by parents regarding admissions for RMS and Sainik Schools.

For admission to Class VI, the candidate should be aged between 10 to 12 years. For Class IX, the candidate should be aged between 13 to 15 years as of 31st March of the year of admission. Boys and girls are both eligible to apply for Class VI, while Class IX guidelines may vary slightly by school.

Yes. Clearing the written CET is only the first step. Our mentorship program includes mock interviews to build the child's confidence, communication skills, and officer-like qualities (OLQs). We also provide a basic briefing on the medical standards required.

Both Class 6th and 9th entrance exams are objective type (OMR based). Note that in RMS for Class 6th, the English marks are qualifying in nature and are not counted in the final merit list, whereas Math and Intelligence carry heavy weightage.

We conduct strict, timed mock tests on actual OMR sheets to simulate the real exam environment. This teaches young students how to handle exam pressure, avoid bubbling errors, and manage their time effectively across different sections.
